DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Drivers License Examiner Assistant, you will work in direct contact with customers to verify applicant identification, completion of application forms, and enter information into online driver license application software. You will also administer standardized knowledge tests to evaluate the applicants understanding of the vehicle code, driving laws, and associated traffic control devices. Additionally, you will also perform vision screening exams for applicants.
It is important to note that you will need to strictly adhere to all aspects of Driver and Vehicle Services Customer Service Policy. As well as, being responsible for ensuring that the correct fee waiver code is used and properly documented whenever a fee waiver is necessary to process a customer transaction.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 80 hours biweekly
Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM PM, Tuesday – Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
This position may require travel and overtime.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
Other Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
