DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Its AMETEK Aerospace & Defense Division comprising six (6) businesses specialized in the design and manufacture of Thermal Management, Fluid Conveyance, Sensors and Motion Control equipment customized to the specific needs of customers primarily in the aerospace and defense sectors (air/land/sea), is looking for a Regional Sales Manager.
Description
As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the entire sales process and customer relations for accounts located in Central and Eastern Europe. More specifically, though direct sales, or with the support of local representatives that you will lead, you will oversee promotion of AMETEK Aerospace & Defense products to existing and prospective customers.
You will mainly be responsible for:
Achieving annual targets for order taking, securing new programs and new customers,
Ensuring quantitative reporting and particularly order intake forecasting,
Ensuring reporting of current business and potential opportunities, ensuring the updating of the CRM tool (Salesforce SFDC)
Acting as the companys preferred point of contact for all customers in your territory
Working closely with the various businesses engineering teams and inside sales (business development teams) to ensure perfect alignment between product development and new business opportunities
Participating in trade fairs and any other event relevant to the development of our market share and providing the necessary support for digital marketing initiatives
Analyzing market data to optimize the “Go to Market” strategy and its implementation
Developing effective and relevant commercial proposals and managing call for tender processes within the allotted time
Required candidates
You have a mechanical or electrical engineering degree
You have expertise in Aerospace or Defense (air/land) markets
You have proven experience in the sale of technical products particularly on motion control, sensors or thermal management equipment
You have proven experience (7-10 years) in business development, strategic planning, OEM contract management and marketing
You are organized, autonomous, involved, results-oriented, enjoy a challenge and able to interact in multidisciplinary teams (purchasing, quality, engineering, program management, etc.)
You have a good command of English,
You are proficient in a CRM tool and the MS office pack
Travel: 50% of the time mainly in Europe, other regions occasionally
Location: Home office in Germany or Italy (other location in Europe possible)
Attractive remuneration: Fixed variable company vehicle
The ideal candidate will be located in the Milan area in Italy or in the Hamburg or Munich areas in Germany.
