We are seeking a Senior Operations Logistics Manager to join our PMA-262 program at Patuxent River, MD.
Functional Description: Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of MQ-4C Triton weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems for the U.S. Navy and Royal Australian Airforce (RAAF) MQ-4C Triton Cooperative Program. Duties include assisting the MQ-4C Product Support Team and associated NAVSUP MQ-4C Supply-Support Team in performing logistics planning, spares provisioning activities, and management functions for the MQ-4C Cooperative Program. MQ-4C supply support activities will include spares provisioning planning, analysis, and recommendations, as well as efforts associated with repair of repairables, consumable spares determinations, and Fleet response efforts. Also, develops inputs to operational logistics plans and documentation for implementation and sustainment of logistics programs. Evaluates maintenance concepts, tasks, logistics resources, processes, and policies to isolate supportability issues impacting in-service programs and devises alternatives, recommendations, and solutions. Additionally, supports and coordinates the execution of ILS-related analysis, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management activities as they apply to domestic and FMS MPRA platforms, support systems, and programs. As applicable, performs reliability, maintainability, supportability, and life-cycle analyses; generates budgets and spend plans; prepares ILS documents; supports structural repair and fatigue assessments; manages material assets; reviews technical data and publication; performs site activation planning; conducts IOC training; collects and reports logistics data; and analyzes maintenance and logistics processes.
Candidate may be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a standard office environment; Must be able to travel via auto and commercial air.
Experience Required: At least ten (10) year’ experience in operational logistics/maintenance engineering. Four (4) years’ experience supervising and directing the activities of at least three operational technicians in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum ILS elements during a job assignment in an Operational Command or supporting an Operational Command. Four (4) years of operational (fleet support) logistics support experience. Four (4) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning an management which demonstrates the ability to perform independent work to provide logistics planning, scheduling, execution and support system effectiveness analysis, studies and evaluation in support of DoD weapons systems and equipment.
Education Required: Bachelors Degree; Working towards Professional Logistics Certification. Allowable substitution: An additional 5 years of experience working in direct support of Defense life-cycle logistics can be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
