LinQuest has an immediate need for a Technical Writer on our team in Ft. Meade, Maryland. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

In this role, you will support our USSTRATCOM NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) customer. Our customer serves as principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the Nuclear C3 Enterprise within DoD and oversee systems engineering and integration for the entire National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) infrastructure. The NEC SE&I Division activities span the complex systems, programs and capabilities that compose the NC3 enterprise.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and deliver training, outreach, documentation and related materials for the consolidated database and related purposes.

Provide support for outreach, training, documentation, and related materials.

Deliver training materials as requested by the customer.

Asist the NEC SE&I Division with outreach, technical writing, and related activities.

Provide the customer with as-requested status updates and deliverables.

Maintains the status of writing training documentation and sets timely dates for completion.

Applies consistent formatting and style throughout technical documentation.

Migrate, edit, and incorporate video, audio, and graphics into technical documentation.

Must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for the position.

Requires Skills & Experience:

11 years relevant experience (in lieu of degree) analyzing interagency products to create requirements, developing CONOPS, Integrated Priority Lists, staffing decision documentation, and adjudicating content

Being capable of applying technical expertise, initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills to solve complex problems

Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, or similar educational equivalent

5 years’ relevant experience analyzing interagency products to create requirements, developing CONOPS, Integrated Priority Lists, staffing decision documentation, and adjudicating content.

NC3 experience

Compensation: Starting salary ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
