Unit Description
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Operations Manager / Assistant General Manager for a high profile government facility located in McLean, VA .
The Operations Manager 3 will be responsible for the directing, planning and coordinating of all retail dining front of the house and back of the house systems to support food quality, customer service and strict adherence to company policy and procedures. The position will schedule and lead 75-100 Union employees within the operation.
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance from the U.S. government
The successful candidate will:
be responsible for all the financial activities
schedule and lead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes
ordering and inventory procedures
train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and daily operation standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience – 3 years
Basic Functional Experience – 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
