Recruiting Assistant

SUMMARY
The Recruiting Assistant supports the recruiting process by helping with tasks including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting screening calls, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates and maintaining the applicant tracking system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist potential employees with online application process
Assist recruiter with posting of open positions on both ATS and online
Source potential candidates
Review resumes and conduct screening calls on appropriate candidates
Coordinate interviews and conduct follow-up communications with applicants
Attend job fairs and hiring events as needed
Administer pre-employment tests and conduct reference checks
Maintain accurate records on ATS

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Possess intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, multi-task, and prioritize as needed.
Strong organizational skills.
Bilingual a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program preferred: and three to six months related office experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend documents written in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to prioritize tasks; and the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
