CACI is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Headquarters, Chief Technology Officer Directorate (CTOD), Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology (AI/ET) initiative. This team works with a federal workforce staff with technical expertise for the smooth functioning of high-visibility, department-wide AI initiatives. The successful candidate will have federal government business analyst work experience. The ideal candidate will have Agile framework Business Analyst experience in an IT environment and a demonstrated passion for AI.

This is a remote work eligible position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Administrative Assistant applies professional skills in a wide range of tasks, including:

Maintaining appointment schedules and calendars

Planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel (when necessary)

Making travel arrangements including flight and hotel bookings (when necessary)

Maximizing federal principals time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; and initiating phone calls on their behalf

Managing multiple email inboxes for executives

Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, working sessions, and other engagements

Research suitable venues, deconflict dates with attendees, and provide read-ahead information as necessary

Perform routing, collection and formatting of slide decks, presentations and briefings, organization and review of read-ahead packages and support materials

Maintain an administrative records system and support records management and records retention policies

Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Draft notifications and announcements, note taking, day-of logistics, and development of summaries.

Assist with developing informational products for internal and external stakeholders in the form of fact sheets, reports, and memos

Bring a collaborative, team-centric attitude and enthusiasm that encourages outreach and partnership

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Ability to obtain a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) – Active EOD preferred

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance

BA/BS and 3 years’ experience in a related field, or equivalent (equivalency includes an AA 5 years applicable experience or a MA)

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and able to relate effectively with program employees, government/client representatives, and internal organizational functional representatives

Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to work independently to meet standards and expectations when given initial guidance/direction and with minimal oversight

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

Previous experience as an administrative assistant or staff support assistant

Previous experience working with a federal government agency

A passion for Artificial Intelligence

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​

Minimum Req uired Hourly Wage:

$17.20
