Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Energy Project Manager to join our clients energy consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to energy performance and sustainability in the built environment. Our team provides design and consulting services focused on decarbonization, renewable energy, microgrids, and energy efficiency projects. The Energy Project Manager will manage and oversee energy performance and sustainability projects from inception to completion, providing design and consulting services related to decarbonization, renewable energy, microgrids, and energy efficiency. This role involves collaborating with clients and stakeholders to develop and implement energy solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The manager will also prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation, while staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in energy performance and sustainability.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of a bachelors degree in engineering or architecture

 Licensure as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect

 Ability to effectively utilize current company software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Newforma Project Center, Bluebeam Revu, Visual Planning, AIA Contract Documents, various MS 365 Apps)

 Licensed professional or 8 years of significant design and practice experience in a leadership role

 Minimum of 5 years direct experience in the energy sector Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

 Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification

 Understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED AP accreditation

 Additional energy certifications (e.g., Certified Energy Auditor, Commissioning Authority (CxA))

 Working familiarity with design and production software

 Project Manager experience in the Federal Department of Defense (DoD) Market Sector

 Comprehensive understanding of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs) and other federal codes

 Knowledge of Federal energy mandates, executive orders, etc.

 Experience organizing and facilitating project meetings with clients (e.g., Concept Design Workshops, Design Review Conference, Value Engineering studies) null
