Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Department (C800), Financial Services Division (C830) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY. Responsibilities You will serve as the organizational database manager for the Defense Travel System (DTS). You will serve as the NDEA Agent responsible for creating travel orders, making all travel arrangements, and processing all travel claims/ vouchers for all civilian and military personnel within the Command and NRMD. You will analyze, interpret, and apply extensive and complex laws, regulations, Comptroller General Decisions, Agency Directives, and command policies regarding civilian and military travel. You will provide senior management with advice and guidance regarding travel laws, regulations, and policies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in analyzing, interpreting, and applying laws, regulations, Comptroller General Decisions, agency directives, and Command policies regarding federal travel and civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders. Experience using travel systems such as: Defense Travel Systems (DTS) in order to make travel arrangements, create travel authorizations/orders, and process travel claims. Experience in making complex travel arrangements outside of travel systems for foreign travel where commercial flights are prohibited. Experience with foreign travel laws and regulations. Experience in creating, processing, and issuing civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders and processing PCS claims. Experience in managing travel cards such as: the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) program. Experience in managing travel card delinquencies and misuse of travel card.
