The Legal Intern (Contracts) will be expected to help with various administrative duties, review, and draft contractual agreements under the supervision of our Director of Contracts. The ideal candidate is a law or business student who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a basic understanding of legal contracts and agreements. This is a paid internship – 40 hours per week for 8 – 10 weeks in an office environment; this is not a remote position.

YOUR IMPACT

Assist in preparing contracts and agreements under the supervision of the Director of Contracts

Assist in analyzing contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services

Support in reviewing contract terms to ensure compliance with company policy

Research and provide data for preparation of contract risk reviews, and coordinate approval process

Help in maintaining an organized and fully up-to-date contract filing system

Communicate contract implementation or administration issues to appropriate team members

Engage with the legal department as needed during contract negotiation and drafting process

Help maintain and update physical and digital contracts records

Work with different departments to ensure contracts are fully implemented

Assist in reviewing and responding to contractual inquiries

Perform other administrative duties as required

Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion

QUALIFICATIONS

US Citizenship is required due to government contracts

Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (preferably Junior or Senior), in the following fields of study: Law, Business or related field

Basic understanding of legal contracts and agreements

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment

Pay Range:

$18.00 – $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidates experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
