Job Summary:

This position works directly with our account managers, Store leaders and supply staff to assist, promote, market and sell the complete range of products offered through the Trane Supply Channel. This lineup includes OEM parts, installation and service supplies, 1 to 25 ton equipment, rentals, and more. Success at this position requires working side-by-side with the Trane Supply Account Managers, store leaders, Retail Ops Leaders and purchasing team, along with the equipment and rentals product managers to increase sales and customer relationships. In addition, the successful administrator will be an active and positive influence in the branch store, helping to provide ongoing mentoring and leadership to the inside personnel.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as On-Site.

What you will do:

Manage data in spreadsheets and reports

Keep records and reports up to date

Help maintain the budget plan

Organize and schedule meetings and events

Supervise other staff and delegate responsibilities

Handle technical issues in their area of expertise

Carry out clerical duties, including answering phones and preparing documents

Maintains customer data files

Attend sales meetings

Possesses strong knowledge of the all Trane Supply product lines, and is be able to enthusiastically demonstrate and discuss with customers

Provide backup support for all supply oriented sales

Develop multiple relationships with key players internally and externally

Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required

Regular day travel requirements with some overnight travel

High School diploma or GED required

Demonstrated competency in consultative, relationship, listening, and strong organization skills

Demonstrated proficiency in business and problem solving skills

Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC products and HVAC systems applications

Highly self-motivated, goal oriented

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Demonstrated competence in computer usage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing

Compensation:

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
