Job Responsibilities

Approving and overseeing product strategy, product development projects; monitoring progress to ensure schedule and budget goals are met and comply with regulations.
Directing staff responsible for translating concepts into designs, and designs into products and/or services, while securing necessary resources.
Coordinating with sales and marketing functions and other partners of the organization to ensure products and/or services meet the stated functional and quality requirements; assisting in the development of product-specific marketing initiatives.
Monitoring competitors and peer organizations to stay abreast of emerging trends in the industry; using this information to secure the competitive position of the organization.

Job Qualifications

Education

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

5 years – Experience in a leadership/management role required
10 years – Experience in a large corporate setting and /or major consulting firm in financial services, insurance or healthcare required

Skills\Certifications

Analytical and decision making abilities.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and translate technical and/or or complex concepts into information meaningful to project team members and/or business personnel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
Positive attitude, self-driven, engaging, proactive, results drive

Preferred qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) it’s applicability to the Individual Market aka Marketplace.
Experience adapting to change required by CMS’s annual Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters (NBPP) and Letter to Issuers in order to maintain compliance in the Individual Market.
Experience managing an annual Qualified Health Plan (QHP) Application process with CMS.
