Five Star Breaktime Solutions is searching for a talented Catering Manager who is directly responsible for implementing and following the catering standards and overseeing the catering events. The Catering Manager will also assist where needed in the Dining location when there are no scheduled catering events.
Responsibilities:
Gather customer requirements (number of guests, event dates, menu items)
Plan food and beverage menus considering clients’ preferences and special requests
Determine requirements in ingredients and set portions
Train and manage wait staff and kitchen personnel
Oversee food prep and customer service
Manage stock and place orders as needed
Help in Dining areas as needed when not working a catering event
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Work experience as a Catering Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role
Understanding of food hygiene
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Customer service attitude
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances
Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays if needed
General Requirements:
Must be able to lift 35-50lbs; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis.
Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check.
Must be able to consent to a drug screen.
Ability to follow workplace safety policies and guidelines.

Status: Full-Time
Pay: $47-50k/yr
