Job Title: Tooling Machinist

Job Description:

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to improve dies, fixtures, weld cells, and equipment preventative maintenance. Support tool room activities on all production equipment and facilities. Make components for repairs and improvements on stamping dies, fixtures, weld cells, and swage operations. Set up, program, and run CNC, EDM, and manual machines in the tool room to produce the needed components. Manage machine uptime and downtime. Heat treat new details to the required specifications. Troubleshoot parts when issues occur. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Document completion of all required processes in the Asset Essentials system. Work with tooling die repair techs to ensure new details are installed properly. Read technical drawings and blueprints. Use measuring tools and gauges (thread, pin, height, micrometers, calipers, tape measure). Collaborate with the Engineering department to improve processes. Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $31.37 $1.50 shift differential = $32.87. Higher pay available for more experience, up to $35.37 for 10 years of experience.

Shift Information:

3rd shift hours are Monday – Friday, 11:00 pm – 7:30 am. Must be open to overtime (currently working about 50-55 hours per week and should be prepared for 50-60 hours). This will be discussed in the interview, and transparency is crucial.
