Job Description:

The primary focus of this position will be to provide recruiting coordination and support for the Physician and APP recruiting department.

·Acts as strategic business partner with site leadership on all provider recruitment related issues. Proactively engages the Leadership teams to establish a common understanding of Talent Acquisition processes, outcomes and service standards.

·Serves as consultant with leadership in the development of effective talent acquisition, sourcing and workforce planning strategies. Serves as source/search expert for the functional area, while collaborating with the hiring manager to understand the needs and the priorities for candidate skill sets. Facilitates proactive resource planning with supply and demand analysis and works with HR Business Partners to proactively understand resource needs and talent gaps.

Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, and closing components involved in full-lifecycle recruiting.

Functions as the point person to the physician or APP candidate regarding questions and requested changes to the contract. Works closely with Regional Vice Presidents, Hospital CEOs, Hospital and Medical Group Medical

Perform other duties as assigned

Takes the lead and sets realistic timetables for physician and APP recruitment negotiations by directing the sequence and timing of the negotiation process. Acts as the point person on negotiating employment offers, working closely with all management levels as mentioned in the above “Scope” and compensation committees.

Directs all marketing efforts for successful physician and APP recruitment to include which media sources to use, creation of ads, and proof reading of final mock-ups. Works closely with lead department support staff.

Educates the department support staff on all aspects of physician and APP recruitment to make them proficient and to give them updates on changes as it relates to doing their job.

Continually develops and improves upon processes, procedures, policies and techniques to recruit physicians and APPs. Maintains up-to-date knowledge and compliance with federal and state fair employment laws and guidelines.

Initiates the generation of the candidates contract by providing specific key elements to contract writers, contract manager, and contract director including compensation and issues specific to medical specialty.

·Develop a qualified applicant pool from multiple sources, including direct sourcing, competitive information, cold-calling, web sites, referrals, job fairs, and advertising, networking, and internal candidate pools.

Directors, Regional Medical Group Operations Directors, Hospital Operations Officers, and Contract Manager and Director regarding changes that need to be made to the contracts.

Reviews candidates references, which requires receiving feedback from residency and fellowship directors, university faculty, department chairs, and private physicians before extending formal offer or invitation to visit.

May direct and oversee the day-to-day activity and operations of the

Develops working relationships with residency and fellowship directors for the purpose of recruitment.

Creates and presents scintillating lecture presentations on any subject matter for which the residency program director asks when invited to give didactic lectures at annual retreats.

Functions as liaison for recruitment of physicians with U. of U. School of Medicine Dept. Chairs involving joint faculty appointments with Intermountain Healthcare positions.

Develops and maintains an effective working knowledge of physician and APP employment agreements, employment process, offer packages, compensation and benefits to answer candidate questions as needed.

Ensures operations and processes are in place to meet or exceed recruitment goals.

Leads recruitment discussion during physician planning and recruitment meetings with each service line.

Provides input, as needed into the physician and APP recruitment budget. Manages costs effectively, reviews and submits expenses for approval and payment.

Conducts initial interview and screening to determine appropriateness of forwarding physician and APP candidates to all levels of management.

Manages and directs entire site visit and the creation of the visit itinerary for all physician and APP candidates and work closely with Regional Vice Presidents, Hospital CEOs, Hospital and Medical Group Medical Directors, APP Directors, Regional Operation Directors, Hospital Operation Officers, and physician groups as appropriate.

Attends dinners with physician and APP candidates as appropriate and keep event moving as host.

Supervises and directs all aspects of the recruitment process for a provider candidate until they have signed their contract and moved to recruited job location which includes all logistical elements involving moving companies, hotels, vehicle transport, etc.

Travel as required for site visits, educational conferences, career fairs, recruitment physician specialty conferences, and other business meetings and activities

Required:

Bachelors degree or work equivalency, required.

5 years of similar experience, preferred.

Experience within a healthcare environment, preferred.

Have a working knowledge of recruitment processes, preferred- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Its also a big plus if you have: Provider recruiting experience; HR background

Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service-oriented environment.

Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft and Google products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$32.77 – $51.61
