A Snapshot of Your Day

As member of the Operations team, the Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the coordination of pulling, packing, and shipping functions for service and warranty orders. The Logistics Specialist will need to have timely communication with field service engineers, contract administrators, manufacturing and purchasing personnel to meet on time delivery of parts to customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Processes orders for shipment and crafts bills of lading in SAP.

Schedules pick-up and delivery with Fed Ex, UPS and other small package carrier partners.

Interacts directly with various Siemens approved LTL and truckload carriers to schedule pick-ups, transmit documents and communicate specific transport requirements.

Communicates verbally and in writing directly with internal and external customers.

Coordinates service parts shipments with internal and external customers and use the SAP system

Meets regularly with service parts team to insure on time delivery to final customers.

What You Bring

Bachelors Degree, (BS/BA) or associate degree with equivalent work-related experience.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)..

2-5 years’ experience in logistics or manufacturing or environment required.
