The Maintenance Group Leader is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective management of all maintenance work requests from operations and support groups. Ensures internal customers receive timely and quality service so that production requirements are met.

Ensure Safety Compliance, maintaining a zero incident mindset and ensuring safety compliance of wage personnel.
Supervise Maintenance Operations, providing direct oversight to mechanical for the daily maintenance of plant equipment.
Being responsible for the development and implementation of small capital projects for preserving and upgrading the sites assets. Responsibilities include project scope preparation, estimating, and execution within budget and timelines.
Working with Reliability Engineers to analyze equipment failures and collaborating with the Maintenance Engineer/Planner to implement continuous improvements to eliminate repetitive and costly failures. You will also be responsible for coordinating work, and ensuring that services requested are completed as requested and at appropriate cost.
Managing monthly maintenance and cost center expenditures, implementing corrective actions to maintain spending within budget, and assist in annual budget preparation. Aligned with this, you will be monitoring Performance Indicator, tracking MPI and KPI metrics to enhance the maintenance process, and maintain data in SAP to document daily maintenance activities.
Providing communication on the status of maintenance activities to appropriate stakeholders via reports and oral and written communications where and when appropriate.
Assisting the Maintenance staff by delegating tasks, prioritizing work schedules, and maintaining a knowledgeable staff of mechanics.
Complying with Process Safety Requirements, working closely with Process Safety requirements to support site compliance and assist in managing activities with local, state, and federal agencies. Providing support as needed to assist the site in managing compliance activities with local, state, and federal agencies as required.
Understanding, monitoring, and operating within process safety operational guidelines and reporting process safety incidents. Completing process safety training as required by the company.
If you…
Hold a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or possess extensive relevant technical experience.
Have 7 years of experience leading teams in a chemical manufacturing plant.
Have a minimum of 8 years of substantial hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of welding, fabrication, mechanical assemblies, engineering, and general construction.
Have significant expertise in mechanical and instrumented equipment, along with their maintenance.
