Overview

We are hiring a Business Development Sales Manager for our FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Optical Devices Division (FNAC – OD) and is responsible for cultivating, developing, and creating new sales and business opportunities for the Sport Optic, Projector, and Security product categories. In addition to their primary sales responsibilities, this position will also be responsible for collaborating with Regional Territory Managers to preparing quotes, track demo/loaner equipment, and perform general office and sales functions as needed. This role will also be asked to support marketing and product management related initiatives related to sales activities, or other business development duties, as assigned and requested by their manager or FNAC-OD Senior Management.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, consists of six operating divisions. The Imaging Division provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables; inkjet consumables; digital printing equipment, along with service and support; personalized photo products fulfillment; film; one-time-use cameras; and the popular INSTAX® line of instant cameras, smartphone printers, instant film, and accessories. The Electronic Imaging Division markets its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories to provide a variety of content creation solutions for both still and moving imagery. The Optical Devices Division provides optical lenses for the broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial markets, and also markets binoculars and other optical imaging solutions. The Graphic Communication Division utilizes its extensive industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and digital print solutions for industries including commercial print, wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software. The Industrial Products Division delivers new products derived from Fujifilm technologies including data storage tape products, including OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters and gas separation membranes. The Non-Destructive Testing Division delivers radiography solutions to ensure high accuracy inspection of transportation infrastructure, and assets within aerospace, and oil and gas industries.

Responsibilities:

Explore, cultivate, and develop new business opportunities for Sport Optics, Projectors, and Security products by further developing existing sales channels or establishing new ones.

Prepare and process quotations and purchase orders as needed.

Assist with the preparation of the sales reports for management.

Track and keep accurate records of the Demo/loaner equipment.

Ensure customer database integrity by continually maintaining customer contact information and produce reports as required.

Assist in the preparation for trade shows, exhibits and events related to Sport Optics, Projectors, and Security.

Facilitate requests for the creation of marketing collateral or any other needs related to sales activities.

Assists with the preparation of various reports for headquarters.

Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers to assure commitments are met.

Perform any other jobs/functions as requested by Manager or FNAC-OD Management.

Adhere to all travel and compliance policies as defined by FUJIFILM North America Corporation

Required Skills/Education

5 years of sales experience or 5 years in a related sales/marketing positionin a fast paced and highly competitive sales environment.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Understand how to closely manage and cultivate an ongoing pipeline for B-to-C and B-to-B sales channels.

Ability to research and analyze various different types of data and make sound business judgments focused on achieving results.

Ability to prioritize work and sales opportunities.

Effective time management skills.

Exceptional communication/interpersonal, analytical and problem solving, and technical skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a close team environment, self starter who can motivate others.

Desired Skills:

Advanced degree.

Prior experience in related industry.

Proficient computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Salary and Benefits:

$105,000 plus commission depending on experience
