Job Purpose
Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill a 2025 spring engineering co-op position in their gear lab located at their World Headquarters in Maumee, OH. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Danas engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks/assignments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Gear lab is responsible for successful production of prototype gears for Danas axle assemblies.
Operate gear production equipment and perform tooling change overs.
Collect data and analyze gear dimensions to make necessary machine adjustments
Opportunity to learn about gear production.
Requirements:
Enrollment & active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Specific majors: Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Proven work experience, strong analytical ability, & excellent mechanical aptitude.
Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills.
Experience with Manufacturing or Assembly a plus.
Willing to do multiple assignments & rotate through other engineering departments.
Full-time availability.
Good oral & written communication skills.
Must be able to interface in a team environment.
