Job Description

Dissect power steering hose assemblies with hand tools and lab equipment

Document the analysis and inspection process

Review and photograph samples with a Keyence microscope to collect evidence related to root cause of issues

Lead problem-solving efforts related to bringing corrective actions to a close

Implement continuous improvements in the lab

Qualifications

Testing and root cause analysis

Photography, documentation, and report writing

Work Environment

Majority of time will be spent in a lab environment. This is where the hose assemblies are dissected, put under a microscope, inspected, pictures are taken, and reports are written. Occasionally, the individual will go out to the production floor, investigate the manufacturing processes, talk to operators and inspectors, and determine the root cause or contributing factors to product failures.
