At CESO, it is the role of an Architectural Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver projects in accordance with client expectations. This includes but is not limited to managing the efforts of internal team members as well as third party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Additionally, the Architectural Project Manager will define a projects objectives, oversee quality control, and maintain responsibility for timelines and budgets. You will have primary responsibilities that include:
Define and establish project scope, schedule and budget for projects as well as maintain quality control over a projects lifecycle
Outline project objectives and timelines for completion and effectively communicate them to involved parties throughout the course of the project
Serve as a primary point of client contact through frequent communication methods and lead client meetings
Lead the preparation of architectural project proposals
Manage a staff of architects and designers and assign workloads
Communicate project status and performance to executive leadership
Monitor project progress to ensure adherence with contractual agreements
Assure project documentation and reporting are accurately maintained
Oversee coordination with clients as well as outside agencies and consultants for procurement of sub-consultant needs and jurisdictional reviews
Elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other internal departments
Provide resolution to client and project issues
Development and coordination of client invoices and tracking accounts receivable on a monthly basis
Build, develop, and grow business relationships to the success of the projects
Act as a team resource on complex architectural issues
Develop and grow business relationships with existing client contacts
Motivate team members through the creation of a positive work environment by providing mentoring, coaching, and training to assist in professional development
Perform other project and supervisory duties as assigned
Position requirements include:
Bachelor Degree in Architecture with 5 years of experience leading the management of projects
Architectural License preferred
LEED Certification preferred
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and delegation skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage and mentor a team
Ability to travel
