South Pointe Hospitals Surgery Center conducts a wide variety of surgical procedures, such as general, dental, urology, radiology, cardiac and more, providing patients from age three to geriatric adult with top-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be caring for patients in the pre- and post-anesthesia care units.

A caregiver in this position works 6:00AM – 4:30PM or 8:00AM – 6:30PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Provide direct nursing care.

Implement and monitor patient care plans.

Monitor, record and communicate patients conditions.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patients discharge needs.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Two years of recent nursing experience. Will consider military RN experience.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
