Requirements and Tasks
Job Summary: Weekend Maintenance/tool attendant (D-shift Fri, Sat Sun nights 6pm – 6am). Role is being created to support operations in recovery and repair of the Autocells (robots and CNC machines) as well as keep up with building and qualify tools.
Qualifications:
Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and best practices.
High level of interpersonal and communication skills, able to participate in a team environment.
Knowledge of various automatic control systems, processes, and methodologies in a manufacturing environment; ability to design, implement and maintain automatic production systems/processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
Experience in a CNC machining environment.
Ability to safely work on and diagnose electrical issues (110-480v)
Knowledge and ability to identify replacement parts.
Knowledge and experience with Fanuc robots and controls
Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize and resolve technical (mechanical,electrical, systems or operational) problems in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of CNC controls and operation.
Ability to read blueprints and follow schematics.
Strong desire to learn and work in a team environment.
Maintain fresh tooling in the automated central tool system (CTS)
Build required tooling for the Auto Cell department as required to maintain production.
Identify opportunities to improve and track tool life.
Set up and operate all related equipment and hand tools as necessary.
Modify consumable tooling as required.
Maintain proper inventory and reorder points for tooling.
