Job Title: R&D Technician
Job Description
Candidate will perform tasks on a pilot line that creates prototype batteries for Energizer in their R&D department. Responsibilities include: measuring, collecting & analyzing data, and providing real-time results and feedback to engineers/project leaders; compressing batteries using hydraulic presses; dispensing materials using hydraulic pumps; assembling final products using various pieces of production equipment; labeling samples or batteries; troubleshooting machine issues and collaborating with team members to resolve them; managing and performing tool and die changeovers; ensuring smooth operation of machinery by taking ownership; locating sources of problems by observation and addressing causes of concern; completing required paperwork and documenting parts and material usage.

This is a fully on-site position in Westlake, Ohio.

Manufacturing floor environment in an R&D lab with a team-based approach to scheduling and work execution. All hands on deck, everyone helps wherever they can.
