Job Title: Metal Tradesman

The primary function of this role is to handle material, weld assemblies and operate a plasma cutter. In addition to loading and unloading trucks, driving a forklift and operator a yard crane. This role reports directly to the Mechanical Fabrication Manager. This position is part of the Plumbers And Pipefitters Local Union #219.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Handling material such as cutting/punching angle iron.

Welding assemblies.

Operating a plasma cutter.

Loading and unloading trucks, driving a forklift and operating a yard crane.

Qualifications:

Education / Work Experience:

High Diploma or GED required.

1 years’ experience in welding is required.

Strong mechanical background is required.

Valid driving license with clean driving record is required.

Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
