The position is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, implementing and controlling all supply chain activities and functions to meet budget and supply chain targets (e.g. maximize delivery performance, reduce cost and manage inventories) and representing the plant/operations toward internal and external contacts regarding SCM topics. The Supply Chain Management Analyst initiates, manages and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all supply chain relevant processes.

Responsibilities:

Lead all supply chain activities and processes for the plant/operations unit.

Define the plant supply chain strategy and translate into action plans based on plant/operations, Business Area SCM and Group strategy.

Implement and monitor Business Area and ContiTech specific policies, procedures, and standards for SCM.

Initiate and manage plant/operations SCM optimization measures to improve the efficiency, reliability, and cost situation in cross-functional teams.

Contribute to strategic, budget and operative planning of the plant/operations with respect to investments, inventory, SCM costs, capacity and headcount planning.

Define SCM plant/operational targets and ensure the achievement of internal and external customer expectations and contribution.

Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities by applying CBS methods and training measures.

Initiate and control investments for supply chain equipment (e.g. forklift trucks, AGV, etc.)

Interface with sector and BA functions to gather local supply chain requirements, demands and other feedback.

Initiate, participate in and/or steer local supply chain related and cross-functional projects.

Participate actively in the activities of environmental health and safety.

Lead change management in plant/operations SCM.

Ensure compliance in plant/operations SCM.

Required:

Bachelors Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR 10 years of relevant experience if no degree

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

SAP experience

APICS certification
