Job Purpose

Perform all manufacturing activities associated with the production & qualification of MediTECH product, including resin handling & blending, ram extrusion, compression molding, annealing, fabrication, heat sealer, and final packaging.

Principal Accountabilities

Adhere to all MCG & MediTECH operating & safety procedures.

Promote MediTECH manufacturing area cleanliness & organization by embracing the guidelines of the 6S program

Perform all operations associated with the loading of all MediTECH grade resin in the environmental room, adhering to all cleanliness requirements.

Perform all operations associated with the blending of resin in the blending room, adhering to all cleanliness requirements.

Perform all operations associated with the MediTECH ram extrusion lines and compression molding press. This includes setup, startup and changeover, troubleshooting, making educated and approved process adjustments, cutting & labeling product, inspecting product and shutting the line down.

Perform all operations associated with secondary operations within MediTECH, including annealing, fabrication and packaging of MediTECH product.

Complete all necessary and required Quality & Manufacturing paperwork associated with the MediTECH processes and products.

Enter daily production order confirmations into the ERP system.

Provide accurate information to the next shift to promote operational efficiency.

Assist with coordinating and performing cycle counts and inventory maintenance.

Assist MediTECH Management with Quality, R&D and Operations projects.

Additional Responsibilities:

Dispose of Trash: Discard waste streams in their respective locations (wood, metals, chemicals, plastics, recycling, hazards and non-hazardous waste).

Demonstrate knowledge of EHS&S aspects and impacts.

Demonstrate knowledge of significant EHS&S aspects and impacts and controls in place.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures and JSA’s

Understand your role in the EHS&S process and goals.

Performs tasks at the request of the supervisor.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

Understanding & experience in the technologies, operation and troubleshooting of MediTECH ram extrusion and compression molding operations.

Understanding & experience in the technologies, operation and troubleshooting of thermal annealing ovens.

Mechanical aptitude and experience in operating and troubleshooting fabrication equipment such as planers, cutting equipment and dowelers.

Proven performance record and continual improvement initiative in productivity, product quality and conformance to quality system requirements

Proven abilities to understand and apply material traceability number sequences.

Strong understanding of Quality Systems and Medical Device quality requirements

Strict attention to detail

Ability to work independently, be self-directed, handle multiple tasks and prioritize well.

Ability to function well in a focused team environment

Proactive nature and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty.

Dedication to safety with an excellent record.

Effective communication skills.

Excellent attendance record.

Competency in basic computer (Microsoft Office products) and MCG’s ERP system.

Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)

The salary range for this position is $24.55 – $33.70. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
