GEM Employer Support Navigator

Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Project Manager-GEM Employer Services, the Employer Support Navigator supports business-facing employer services under the Global Epicenter for Mobility (GEM) Talent Transformation project by working directly with business partners to identify employer requirements and connect employers with grant-supported and community resources within the 11-county regional GEM project. Supports the GEM strategy through regular and consistent communication and liaising with employers in the Mobility sector.
Essential Functions
– Supports the strategy and work plan for the initiative through regular and consistent contact with the business community, human resource leaders, talent executives, and others to identify employer needs.
– Grow relationships with key mobility sector employers, including human resource executives and CEOs.
– Provides outreach and clear communications to mobility employers, other workforce partners, and the network of sub-recipients utilizing multiple strategies as set forth by the department.
– Assesses, coordinate, and support appropriate employer services among GEM service providers, GEM co-recipients, and other critical partners to help employers meet their talent
– Utilizes the GEM Launch Pad (CRM), Submittable (Grant-making) systems to track employer and project activities.
– Compiles and develops reports for a variety of audiences, including employers, SEMCA leadership, Federal program officers, and GEM Central/GEM co-recipient partners.
– Participates in program planning as
– Supports marketing and communications efforts related to the employer service awareness efforts (e.g., social media strategies, traditional media strategies, participation in career fairs, ).
– Regularly participate in GEM Best practices meetings with service providers and serve as subject matter expert on services and networks available to Mobility employers.
– Secures employer participation in critical grant activities, including convenings, talent studies, and Mobility Talent Resource Network.
– Assists Business Owners to navigate program processes in Submittable portal for the GEM Mobility Talent Resource Network including project assessments, request for proposals, B2B services matching with a high level of care for successful project outcomes.
– Assisting team members with tasks or projects with vigilance and attention to detail and communicating potential risk factors to support the well-being of the organization.
– Maintains confidentiality and safeguards employee and organizational integrity through diligent protection of data and systems.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in relevant field of study or equivalent experience pursuant to SEMCAs Experience in Lieu of Education
