We are seeking a professional like you to manage the Engineering Plastics Compounding Plant work order system by planning, scheduling, applying standards and coordinating services of planned maintenance and construction jobs to minimize costs and production downtime by the proper use of craft manpower, materials, and services.
In this role, you will determine the manpower required for construction, major maintenance, and routine maintenance projects to properly utilize the resources in assigned areas. You will also plan major plant turnarounds alongside the Production/Maintenance Gatekeeper and promote planning and scheduling techniques for better understanding for Maintenance and Production Supervision.
As a Technical Development Representative Polyurethanes, you create chemistry by…
• Providing technical service and polyurethane product development for consumers in the Performance Materials Business with an emphasis on flexible foam and technology.
• Formulating polyurethane systems, conducting laboratory machine runs, conducting field evaluations with customers, and providing production support to our plants (develop QC specs, process parameters, support NCM investigations).
• Working efficiently and effectively through the use of statistical tools to optimize customer formulations and processes.
• Occasional weekend work may be required for customer trials and support.
• Performing all tasks with particular attention to health and safety.
If you…
• Possess a Bachelors degree in Material Science of Polymer Science related discipline and relevant industry experience working in Polyurethanes Formulation group or technical support group.
• Are able to work effectively with minimum direct supervision in a team environment
• Have the ability and desire to travel and service customers across NA region (25% travel)
• Possess demonstrated teamwork, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving
• Have proven effective communication skills with coworkers and customers
