Job Description
This position serves as a first-line supervisor with responsibility for coordinating and directing the work of subordinate personnel at a state-owned and/or operated bridge. This position under general supervision, works within provided toll collection and revenue accounting policies and procedures and exercises considerable judgment to select proper courses of action. This position makes final determinations of toll classifications and is responsible for resolution of customer complaints and public inquiries. Assists with the training of new employees, with coordination and performing special events, and with other administrative duties as directed by supervisors such as providing informational requests, completing surveys, and conducing research. Must have a working knowledge of the Security Operations Center with usage during a bridge related emergency response.
As a 24/7 operation, the position requires working various schedules which can include weekends and holidays as needed.
The “Salary” listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Bridge Services Supervisor 9 position.

Required Education and Experience
Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience Bridge Services Supervisor 9
Four years of experience equivalent to a Bridge Services Representative, including three years equivalent to a Bridge Services Representative E7 or two years equivalent to a Bridge Services Representative 8.
Alternate Education and Experience
Bridge Services Supervisor 9
Completion of 30 semester (45 term) credits including 12 semester (20 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: accounting, business, finance, management, mathematics, public administration, or statistics.
OR
Two years managerial/supervisory experience or four years of experience with primary focus on processing financial transactions.
Additional Requirements and Information
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Possession of a Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) Document e.g., Passport, Passport Card, NEXUS Card, WHTI approved State enhanced drivers license.

Vacation and Sick Leave:Eligible full-time employees receive between15 and 35 personal daysand13 sick daysper year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
