Administrative Assistant provides support to a team, department, or
college, performing a variety of administrative responsibilities to
facilitate day-to-day operations, including tasks such as program
planning, budget administration, and personnel coordination. This role
interacts with both external and internal constituents, resolving
routine and non-routine issues. The Administrative Assistant provides
advanced administrative support to senior leadership positions or
departments, communicating with executives, faculty, staff, students,

Duties and Responsibilities 1. Program Review Keep the program review
schedule up to date Support logistics of program review process,
including communications to unit leaders and program review council
members, scheduling external reviews, and processing payments. Organize
documentation of program review, including electronic filing of key
documents in the process 2. University Strategic Plan Schedule meetings
related to the strategic plan Send communications (emails/Marquette
Today posts) on behalf of strategic plan co-leads Update strategic plan
website and Teams site as requested Assist with tracking and updating
strategic plan progress 3. Data Request Management Monitor in-box
related to requests for data Assign data request to staff member as
appropriate Track status of data request and ensure appropriate
documentation is electronically filed 4. Office logistics Enter vacation
time in HR system Take meeting notes as directed Assist with scheduling
and planning aspects of unit events such as cross-campus training or
office retreats Assist with hiring process of student or staff employees
5. External Survey Logistics Monitor in-box related to external survey
requests and update project plan and timeline accordingly Coordinate
with staff member responsible and assist with data entry For the

QUALIFICATIONS: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High school
diploma A minimum of 4 years of related administrative support
experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the
ability to communicate with diverse constituents both internally and
externally. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Proficient with finance and budget reporting. Knowledge of Microsoft
Word, Outlook, Excel, and calendar systems. Ability to maintain
confidentiality. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelors
