Accounting Analyst

As an employee-owned company, YOU MATTER! We are currently seeking an
Accounting Analyst to join our Corporate team. Under the direction of
the Controller, this person will be responsible for various accounting
projects, reconciliations, general ledger entries and other accounting
functions. Anticipated Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Position is
located in-office at our Cottage Grove headquarters Job
Responsibilities: Reconciles monthly bank statements Investigates and
analyzes variances and expenses Preparation of monthly expense
allocation workbooks Pull daily ACH deposit detail and deposit customer
checks Perform billing for various department, including but not limited
to, Central Supply and SMG Maintain Vendor W-9 Forms and file 1099s
reports at year-end. Maintain Hotel expenses through our Virtual Credit
Card and Hotel Engine programs and post hotel expenses accordingly.
Develops and maintains Excel spreadsheets and Word documents to help
assist leadership in making business decisions Assists with weekly
on-line bank transfers Prepare financial statements for subset of parked
entities Assists in developing and implementing time and cost saving
initiatives and process efficiencies Prepare various analysis for
different departments as requested Qualifications: Associates degree
in accounting with equivalent experience 2-4 years of experience in the
accounting field preferred Oracle NetSuite or equivalent accounting
software experience Proficient understanding of Accounting principles
Proven General Ledger experience Proficient in Microsoft Office,
especially Excel Fixed asset and sales/use tax experience a plus, but
not required Ability to work independently with limited direction Strong
analytical skills Ability to multi-task and very detail-oriented
