JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Manufacturing Planner Remote, USA SUMMARY: The
Senior Planner for Manufacturing is responsible for performing key
production planning functions based on executing and analyzing Customer
orders and trends.Key areas of accountability include hands-on
participation in department activities, running, reviewing and
submitting production plans, providing specific information to Customer
Service, Management and the Supply chain Department. What youll get to
do in this role: Develop production schedules & monitor availability
of raw materials for Customer orders. Alert the Supply Chain Team to
unexpected material shortages and help resolve the issues Receive
customer orders to review and solve potential constraints (materials and
capacity). Coordinate with Customer Service to understand and meet
critical Customer shipments Lead the planning for and implementing
engineering changes. Spearhead the root cause analysis of OTD misses
and sales backlog to drive long term improvements Participate in and
develop of planning systems that enable proactive manufacturing
decision-making Communicate with purchasing, production, stockroom,
engineering, quality/regulatory and sales to coordinate plans/schedules
and collaborate on problem solving and continuous improvement
opportunities. Work with Manufacturing Leadership to establish
in-process kanbans that support production capacity Coordinate cycle
counts and processing of Middleton demo sales inventory. Participate
in and help lead transitions into Middleton Help reconcile
manufacturing variances Lead the rev-to-go analysis for the site What
we are looking for: Basic qualifications Bachelors Degree in Supply
Chain Management, Operations Management, or Engineering is required
Experience with MRP/ERP and Agile (or other PLM software) The
ability to analyze operational data to help plan capacity for plant
operations. Ability to influence others to improve quality,
efficiency, and overall performance. Preferred Skills: 5-7 years of
planning experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in
electronics manufacturing is a plus Certification and proven success
leading Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement
projects, is a plus Travel Required: Minimal Compensation and Benefits:
