Job Title: Inventory/Forklift Operator

Job Description

This position involves receiving incoming part shipments, verifying parts and quantities received, restocking pulling locations, stocking overflow, and handling some internal shipments to disperse inventory to other locations in North America. Forklift operation is required, with usage ranging from 30-70% of the time, depending on the area of inventory and team assignments. Senior members have first choice to drive the forklift for the day. Additional duties include:

• Print, pull, and package all outbound materials for satellite plants
• Verify accuracy of materials shipped
• Print, pull, and package parts orders for shipment to external customers
• Unload trucks into the flow-through racking
• Verify stock and enter info into the computer
• Stock materials in correct locations
• Pull and deliver raw materials to the machine shop
• Stock finished goods from the machine shop & motor department
• Refill and replenish primary locations

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Waunakee, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Employees will work between receiving, shipping, inventory/racking, and machine operation areas, performing various tasks as needed. The facility is new and clean, with a brand new automated paint line system. The work environment is climate-controlled but can get hot during the summer months, with a moderate noise level. Teamwork and the ability to work independently with various departments and personalities are essential. The facility enforces a no-smoking policy on-site. Attire includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and shorts or pants without holes/tears.

Shift Details:
1st Shift: Monday – Friday 6 AM – 2:30 PM ($19.63/hr) with potential overtime until 4:30-5 PM.
2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday 2:30 PM – 1 AM ($19.63/hr $2.00 shift differential) with potential overtime until 3 AM. Employees are required to work 4 Saturdays per year (1st shift: 5 – 9 AM, 2nd shift: 2:30 – 7:30 PM).
