Apprenticeship Program? The Youth Apprenticeship (YA) program at
Greenheck is an opportunity to learn how the manufacturing process works
from start to finish. This is a great opportunity to understand
manufacturing as a whole; along with different aspects such as: lean
manufacturing, continuous improvement, the importance of safety, and
working as a team. YA Participant Requirements: – Maintain academic
skills and attendance – Exhibit maturity and responsibility to employer
and school – Participate in regular progress reviews – Complete 450
hours of work by August 31st of current school year o Complete 900 hours
of work in a 2-Year program – Enroll in the school/state YA Program
Greenheck Group Requirements: – Hourly rate of $15/hour, plus $1.50
shift premium – Part time: 20 hours per week, or 4 hours Monday-Friday o
Up to 40 hours per week in the summer o Eligible for overtime per OT
Guidelines (after all FT team members with seniority have been asked) –
Complete one-week onboarding program including safety and manufacturing
training – Job shadow key team members on shop floor – Eligible
Manufacturing Pathways are Manufacturing Processes, or Assembly &
Packaging Greenheck Group Exposure: – Mentor from the shop floor –
Weekly/biweekly check-ins with supervisor – Shadowing in fabrication and
testing areas – Hands on experience in paint, assembly, crate, and
wiring – Possibility of converting to full time employment We are an
