We are hiring a Fleet Operations Specialist that will be responsible for managing all fleet-centric activities including the analysis, reporting, and interpretation of fleet data, in servicing and overseeing the location of assets, managing proper legalization and licensing of fleet vehicles, and maintaining master fleet data. In addition, this position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of fleet programs including the company fuelcard program, the DSD uniform program, and the safety shoe program.

Responsibilities:
Acts as the liaison for all fleet programs and manages the fuel card program, the DSD uniform program, and the safety shoe program. Ensures budget availability, reviews invoices for accuracy, and processes payments for fleet, fuelcards, uniforms, and safety shoes.
Develops reports, provides in-depth analysis, and interprets fleet data to include CyntrX reporting for management. Prepares and provides recommendations to improve the overall efficiency, quality, and cost of fleet operations.
Works directly with field leaders and lease vendors to monitor scheduled maintenance, compliance, accident reporting, rental tracking and other fleet related initiatives. Assists field leaders with the use of the web portal for processing maintenance invoices.
Facilitates and approves fleet legalization, licensing, and taxes with full autonomy. Ensures contracts are incompliance and rates are appropriate for the business. Provides primary payment approval.
Monitors and coordinates the movement and location of all fleet assets. Ensures master data is maintained with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
Supports the budgeting process and other fleet and operations projects. Maintains a thorough understanding of safety and DOT requirements as it relates to fleet and DSD operations.
Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent
Preferred 1 or more years of related work experience
Thorough understanding of safety and DOT requirements as it relates to fleet and/or DSD operations.
Proficient understanding of automated general ledger systems and reporting tools and basic understanding of statistical analysis, accounting procedures, programs, and processes.
Advanced PC skills including SAP, Windows, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to develop trend, chart, and comparative analyses.
