Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Emergency Services Department in Hibbing, MN.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing support to patients within the Urgent Care. We are a Level IV trauma center and an Acute Stroke Ready hospital.
Schedule: This position will be working 72 hours per two weeks, 12-hour, day/evening shifts and every third weekend.

Multidisciplinary approach to all emergencies.
Care delivery team: Board Certified/Eligible ED physicians and advanced practice providers, RNs, LPNs, Unit Assistants, dedicated Social Worker, dedicated Security Officer
Telemedicine includes Telestroke and Telepsych
Patient population: all ages

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you are responsible for:
Capturing the data involved in total systems assessment, including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data, as well as ongoing data collection.
Assisting the provider in coordinating a plan of care based on prioritized patient needs in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel.
Assisting in provision of age specific direct patient care in collaboration with all disciplines according to standards of care.
Required Qualifications
Tier 1 Criteria: 1 year of LPN experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred. Tier 2 Criteria: Current MN LPN License. 1 year experience as Nursing Assistant.
Current Minnesota LPN Licensure. Attends BLS class within six months of employment and maintains certification.
Preferred Qualifications
1-year Urgent Care/Emergency Room/Clinic experience.
