JOB SUMMARY:

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials. In addition, the Material Handler responsible for operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions (i.e. receiving, running lines, and shipping) in assigned Operations facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Efficiently locate & pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned production areas to maintain inventory levels for production; ability to accurately verify parts & quantities and complete BOLs to receive and/or ship material.

Licensed and can operate all material handling equipment (i.e. Stand-up, Sit-down, Combi, Lancer, Tugger) at assigned Operations facility.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards; use best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipment in assigned Operations facility.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards; follow all safe procedures and practices in assembling and testing of all models in your job function.

Conduct receiving operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

One (1) year applicable position experience or an evaluated equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to become forklift certified to operate a forklift/tugger to receive and deliver parts safely and efficiently.

Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes.

Must have outstanding transaction discipline – being diligent with quantity accuracy, making effective changes within JDE (Dodge Center Only).

Rectify inventory discrepancies, monitor KANBAN cards, previous experience with ERP systems, and JDE (Dodge Center Only).

Effective in working cross-functionally with various internal customer.

Two (2) or more years of applicable position experience.

Complexity, Judgment and Problem Solving: Work of a relatively routine nature. Requires the ability to understand the follow instructions.

Work Schedule: Routine shift hours. Infrequent overtime, weekend, or shift rotation.

Demands/Deadlines: Occasional stress due to deadlines or workload because of intermittent or cyclical work pressures, or occasional exposure to distressed individuals within the immediate work environment.
