Responsible for properly packaging, sealing and stacking product according to customer specifications and adhering to safety, quality and production policies and requirements. The Bagger understands the procedures and duties to be completed during a full CIP on both Drying systems. This position has a basic knowledge of the mixing process, assisting and taking direction from Mixers during certain production runs as needed. $20.54/hour $1.50 Shift Differential Double Time on Sundays and holidays 2-2-3 Rotational Schedule 7:00am – 7:00pm 7:00pm – 7:00am What you need to join our team: Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs. Bag product in 50-pound bags or 40-pound boxes; pushing/pulling product weighing up to 170 pounds. Load bags or boxes to the dryer. Take samples of powder. Weigh the product and adjust the product levels to match the exact weight. Move pallets in and out of rooms using a pallet lift jack. Use metal detector to scan product. Number the packages with marker. Perform job tasks in adherence to all Agropur Standard Operating Procedures. Complete work timely, efficiently and with optimal quality standards. Conduct work in a safe manner and abide by all Agropur safety policies. Maintain a clean work environment to meet Good Manufacturing Practices. Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings. Keep all areas of work clean and organized including bagging rooms and mixing areas. Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of cleaning requirements throughout the plant and adhere to the Master Sanitation Schedule. Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of duties and responsibilities during a full system CIP on both drying systems. Dump bags/totes of dry material and paste into the blending process. Our ingredients facility runs various whey streams, including; whey protein isolate (WPI), whey protein concentrate 34 (WPC 34), whey protein concentrate 80 (WPC 80) and both pharma and food-grade lactose.
