Hornbachers is seeking Bakery Managerat our Village West locationtopromotesales and achieve profit margins and labor goals as projected. To contribute toward ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers and positive working conditions for employees.
JOB SUMMARY: To effectively direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Bakery Department while achieving sales and profit goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures customer satisfaction through timely and professional service
Responsible for calculating department budget and keeping within parameters for sales, margin and labor expenses
Develops coordinated, aggressive and creative merchandising plans
Accountable for department gross profit goals
Supervises and monitors department sanitation and safety
Builds effective teams and ensures company policies and procedures are followed
Directs and performs baking and production activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant should have excellent leadership and problem solving skills. Candidate must possess exceptional communication and mathematical skills. High school diploma or equivalent, two to four years in food service, and previous supervisory experience preferred. Previous baking experience preferred.
