This company values renewable forest resources and planning for future generations.  Plan for your future by talking with us and have the potential to get three-day weekends to live your life!Why you want this job:Three-day weekends! 4/10’s with a 30-minute lunchSchedule: Monday through Thursday – 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay: $21.89/hour to startLong-term health and benefits package including 401k and employer matchResponsibilities:Learn to operate control center to cut logs to optimum lengths and remove all barkMaximize the value of each logSafely and effectively operate machine centersMonitor flow of material to and from the machine centers and make adjustments as necessary to ensure production and quantity standards are metConduct visual equipment inspections and support maintenance in troubleshooting/repairs when applicableControl two log decks, log dump and log loaderOperate the cut-off saw to cut logs to required lengthsOperate conveyors to send logs through the debarkerOperate a chain saw to cut crooked logs or limbs from logsUse bars and peavey to move and straighten logsCoordinate via radio with Log Yard Loader OperatorOperate the defect cut-off sawMaintain a clean work area clear of debrisGet in touch!
