Job Title: Building Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
You will perform routine mechanical maintenance and repetitive repair work on the buildings and building support systems. You will also assist with welding when needed and perform preventive maintenance (PM) on machines as necessary. Responsibilities include making all necessary adjustments and repairs to correct operating difficulties, replacing high-failure rate parts such as light bulbs, filters, ceiling tiles, pipes or pipe fittings, and any component parts. You will perform daily set-ups and start-ups of building support systems, conduct blow-downs of boilers and compressors, and check on proper operating conditions. Visual inspections of the building are required to ensure all building functions conform to acceptable quality levels (AQL). Cleaning all building support equipment and necessary parts daily, servicing and repairing all rooftop HVAC units and air handling equipment, using a forklift when necessary, and facility snow removal are also part of the job.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Broadview, Illinois.
Work Environment
The work environment is very clean, but the machines can get a little messy as the company makes sauces. A uniform will be provided.
