Work Environment
Alsip Facility: This modern, temperature-controlled facility is very clean and organized, with a strong focus on safety. The workforce is smaller, with 10-15 people on 1st shift and fewer on 2nd. The facility was remodeled in the last 10 years and has fewer lines and equipment compared to the Chicago Heights facility.
Chicago Heights Facility: This larger, temperature-controlled facility houses a few hundred employees across shifts. It is not as new or organized as the Alsip location but is still in good condition. The environment can be chaotic due to the higher volume of work and employees. The facility includes security checkpoints and multiple break rooms. Both locations handle non-harmful chemicals and offer excellent employee benefits. Operations are similar, with Alsip focusing more on customized orders and Chicago Heights on continuous batches and repetitive orders.
