Description:

The Property and Casualty Insurance market is highly regulated in the US. Laws and regulations vary by state and each state is regulated by a Department of Insurance. The primary focus of this role is to support the business functions in meeting these requirements through routine quality assurance processes, timely and accurate reporting, supporting projects, and consultancy services as a subject matter expert in the US Statistical Reporting and WC domains. This role will closely manage the Verisk relationship, monthly and quarterly reporting activities, as well as select regulators. Responsibilities also include acting as the WC end-to-end business owner and technical resource to ensure alignment across all functions for the Bureaus relationship.

Provide end-to-end oversight of the following critical areas:

Data call and data alignment resolution including detailed indemnity data call, detailed medical data call, and annual aggregate data call, among others involving WC data

Proof of Coverage/WCPOLS process, including penalty mitigation, and lead for driving/resolving timeliness and accuracy issues

Data calls and USR coordination while acting as a liaison for Finance/IT/Operations to ensure data alignment and take lead to resolve issues, including developing resolution process

Oversight of Unit Statistical Reporting, including penalty mitigation, and lead for driving data quality resolution

Qualifications

3 – 5 years of relevant experience in the US Regulatory Reporting domain and/or US P&C Business Analysis

Understanding of US Regulatory Statistical Reporting Requirements as they apply to the AGCS Application suite supporting Workers Compensation

3 – 5 years of project management experience, delivering cross-regional and cross-functional scope and managing project resources

Project Management ability with competency to manage diverse stakeholders and project resources, steering and controlling

Listen, understand, and translate the regulatory reporting needs into requirements and solutions, analyze complex situations and divide work into manageable pieces, deliver high quality results on time and within budget

Research and navigate Bureau publications and manuals to determine requirements.
