Civil 3D Drafter

Actalent Engineering is seeking Civil 3D Drafters to work fully remotely for an 8 week assignment starting Monday, 10/14!

Candidates MUST have Civil 3D and AutoCAD already downloaded on their personal computer to support this project.

Job Description:

Use Civil3D to create pipeline alignment sheets and plats, exhibits, and permit drawings used to construct pipeline projects

Prepare design drawings with plan, section and detail format or plan and profile as designated

Prepare sketches of details not included on existing drawings to accurately reflect as-installed field conditions

Prepare drawings, forms, maps, and lists based on approved details provided by designers and engineers

Prepare ALTA surveys and Land Survey Plats

Qualifications:

Candidate MUST have AutoCAD and Civil 3D on their computer. Computer will not be provided!

3 years of experience drafting and creating alignment sheets from survey data

Proficiency in AutoCAD and legal descriptions drafting

Oil and gas industry experience OR exp. within commercial development, highways, etc.

Reading and understanding maps, plat maps, as-builts, construction drawings and gas service records for existing condition interpolation

Experience with Plat Mapper preferred (or something similar)

Ability to work within core hours of 7:30- 5:30 Central Time Zone Monday- Friday
