Position Summary
Ensures the smooth, accurate, and consistent flow of materials and equipment to and from the line from designated
locations.

Duties and Responsibilities
Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following Buckhorn policies and OSHA standards.
Maintains and utilizes all documentation required.
Ensures all product transfers are performed properly and accurately to and from designated locations.
Ensure timely removal/delivery of product to/from the production line.
Reports all incidents and accidents immediately to leadership.
Participation in 5S program to ensure a clean and operational facility.
Safe operation of a forklift and various attachments.
Escalate issues as needed to department leadership.
Completes other duties as may be assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); required
Previous warehouse and/or shipping experience; preferred
Forklift certification; required
Ability to communicate in a positive and clear way with team members and peers.
Ability to accept change and adapt to organizational change and shifting priorities.
Barcode and handheld scanner experience; preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors or employees of our organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to do two mathematical operations to arrive at the solution.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
