3rd Shift Associate

Position Overview

This position is responsible for moving product out of rooms/coolers to be cleaned and helping with plant start up.

– Move product out of rooms and coolers according to schedule
– Help remove belts from conveyors
– Monitor DAF
– Perform pre-op as needed
– Check sanitizer levels during pre-op when needed
– Perform visual inspection of rooms with PSSI site manager
– Sign release forms
– Verify fogging
– Perform maintenance as directed by the 3^rd^Shift Supervisor
– Assist in plant start up

Qualifications

Requirements

– Have a positive and professional attitude
– Participate in daily LEAN meetings and stretches
– Follow GMPs at all times
– Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety policies
– Notify management immediately of any unsafe situations
– Follow all Food Safety Policies
– Must always follow LOTO (Lock out Tag out) program
– Regular attendance is required
– Prompt, on time reporting to work stations is required
– Ability to climb stepladder and extension ladder
– Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, ramps and stairs
– Ability to safely walk on slick surfaces due to working or weather conditions
– Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, twist and stoop, on a regular basis throughout shift
– Strength Factor Level 4-Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly.
