Overview

Responsible for providing consultative and technical support services for both internal and external customers within an assigned territory. Install and train customers on software applications unique to the graphics arts industry. This includes but is not limited to desktop and imposition applications, workflow RIP solutions, POD Rip Solutions, color management and alignment software applications and calibration and associated hardware tools. Generate revenue through delivery of products and services as well as provide ‘Trusted Advisor” support to internal and external customers.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, consists of six operating divisions. The Imaging Division provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables; inkjet consumables; digital printing equipment, along with service and support; personalized photo products fulfillment; film; one-time-use cameras; and the popular INSTAX® line of instant cameras, smartphone printers, instant film, and accessories . The Electronic Imaging Division markets its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories to provide a variety of content creation solutions for both still and moving imagery. The Optical Devices Division provides optical lenses for the broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial markets, and also markets binoculars and other optical imaging solutions. The Graphic Communication Division utilizes its extensive industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and digital print solutions for industries including commercial print, wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software. The Industrial Products Division delivers new products derived from Fujifilm technologies including data storage tape products, including OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters and gas separation membranes. The Non-Destructive Testing Division delivers radiography solutions to ensure high accuracy inspection of transportation infrastructure, and assets within aerospace, and oil and gas industries.

This position is remote the desired is a major city located in the Eastern part of the US.

The Graphic Communication Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the largest graphic distributor in the US. We deliver world class, state of the art solutions for Ink Jet Printing, Digital Printing, Wide Format, Offset Plates, Packaging, and a full range of traditional Offset supplies and software solutions to support the market. In addition, we are the industry leader in Color Standardization and G7 implementation.

Responsibilities

Support productlines by providing product review and problem resolution conclusions

Promote and deliver consulting services and operator training to customers on full range of applications and rip software related to Digital Wide format products

Provide technical information to customers

Produce technical reports and completed training syllabus forms after completion of services

Perform field evaluation of new and/or test products

Conduct product testing and evaluation at customer site

Measure product performance against benchmarks for assigned products/services

Resolve escalated customer problems through KT (Kepner Tregoe) and other trouble-shooting techniques

Disseminate essential product information to other departments

Establish a strong working relationship with sales managers and sales representatives to promote Professional Services offerings and leveraging Services for the sales growth of the group and company.

Coordination of training & delivery of Professional Services with customer and support team

Perform on-site installation and configuring of software. This includes desktop and imposition applications, workflow RIP solutions, POD Rip Solutions, color management software applications and calibration, Wide Format calibration and associated hardware tools.

Develop strong working relationships with customers

Complete and submit activity information and paperwork timely to the appropriate group/department

Attend training classes as needed for product updates and new products

Maintain currenttechnical knowledge of product offerings

Provide training on essential product information both verbally and written

Assist other PSAs and customers via phone to troubleshoot problems

Sales assistance in demos and/or customer visits

Monitor critical accounts and actively participate in support activities to accomplish quick and effective problem resolution

Communicate technical issues to management and technical support group

Perform related duties as assigned by manager

Required Skills/Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent

2 years graphic arts industry experience

Experience with press room, color management and/or prepress products and software applications

Field experience in software applications specific to the graphic arts industry

Experience with specific products utilized in the graphic arts industry in the pre-pressenvironment

Ability to understand and instruct others in the color management process

Knowledge of offset printing process

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Industry knowledge related to graphic arts and workflow applications

On-going knowledge in graphic arts software applications and a background and/or aptitude to learn the graphic arts field

Outstanding customer service

Ability to accurately evaluate customer’s employees after training and provide feedback to owners

Possess necessary skills/attributes to include excellent communication skills (both verbal and written),

Working knowledge of Microsoft applications

Close and complete calls using Sales Force and other CRM or Product Management solutions as directed by manager

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to travel ~80 %
