Position Purpose:
This position works independently with engineering and maintenance teams to create an organized and easily accessible digital library of instrumentation information for the New Incineration Project. This system will streamline access to the instrument data, improve efficiency in finding specific information, and provide a structured approach to instrumentation documentation management.
Primary Duties/responsibilities:
Organize manufacturer data sheets and link to existing summary spreadsheet:
Gather data sheets for various instrumentation and devices from Google Drive
Sort data sheets into folders, each named for a unique instrument
Add hyperlinks in the existing summary spreadsheet to connect to the organized data sheets
Understanding of pressure and flow engineering units is beneficial for this task
Provide weekly or biweekly updates to track progress and to coordinate work
Provide additional support for document updates / management as directed
Work Supports New Incineration Operational Readiness progress reports
Work Environment:
Environments vary from office to field to plant.
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
Strong Computer Skills (preferably with Chromebook)
College Coursework in engineering familiarized with instrumentation and/or maintenance (preferred)
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Ability to Work Well with Others
Willingness to Learn New Skills and Technologies
Spreadsheet Proficiency (GoogleSheets and/or Microsoft Excel)
PDF Editing and Management Knowledge (preferred)
Ability to Follow Detailed, Complete Instructions
Motivated and Collaborative Team Player
