Maintenance Manager Job Description:

To ensure safe, functional and pleasant facilities through the use of preventative maintenance.

This position requires 2 years general maintenance experience with knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical installation and repair, plumbing, and HVAC. Some high school courses preferred. Requires refrigeration certification. Must be familiar with the local building codes of each restaurant location. Must be able to work as a team member and present a professional image while performing job duties with a minimum disruption to customers or fellow employees. Requires a valid Texas drivers license and valid liability insurance. Must have the ability to travel between facilities in varying weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.

This position has frequent contact with vendors regarding parts or supplies and will have contact with customers while performing job duties.

Must be able to prioritize workload and follow established policies and procedures.

Consequences of errors include: Damaged or non-functional equipment, dissatisfied customers, loss of revenue or the creation of dangerous work environments.

Key activities include:

Performs various maintenance duties including but not limited to painting, light electrical and light plumbing.

Ensures that facilities adhere to local building codes.

Reports needs for any major repairs and contacts appropriate service representatives.

Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant, air conditioning and all heating and cooling equipment.
